b) Do not overpay for the diamond looking only for one with Excellent characteristics for Polish and Symmetry. It is ok to have Polish and Symmetry with Very Good or even Good values.

c) It is better to pay attention to Depth and Table characteristics of the diamond because they affect the brilliance of the stone. Less perfect stones cost less, yet they are not desirable.

d) Do not always look only for VS+ clarity diamonds, pay attention to inclusions in the diamonds: some SI1 clarity diamonds have very small and insignificant imperfections, but cost much less that VS clarity diamond.

2. While looking for quality and longevity find something to fall in love with the engagement ring.

3. Take into consideration the lifestyle of your fiance and how the ring will look on her.
